I hate washing it but food is done faster and better. I have an old Crock-Pot and it still works, but is too small for a roast, etc. Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system. The user manual is small, but complete, and includes a couple recipes. Slow Cooker Mode had a low, medium and high heat button. Basically if you follow Youtubers recipes, it's foolproof. I don't know if that's a glitch or the way it is designed.

I let it release naturally and have a perfectly cooked, tasty meal every time. - Twenty minutes as the Instant Pot got up to cooking pressure. Great to make soups as 3 qts is enough for the day w pleanty of leftovers. I looked at this item for a long time before I finally decided to buy it. But, as I'm sure most pressure cooker owners do, we survived.

"This is great."
The lid has not shattered nor is it flimsy. However, I ended up dragging it home and using it there. It will hold slightly more but the lid would then touch the liquid. But, as I'm sure most pressure cooker owners do, we survived. No bells or whistles on this machine, and that is really just fine and great. The food I prepared didn't stick to the stoneware and it was super easy to clean. I cooked two racks of BBQ pork back ribs.

She left it here when she moved into a place of her own. I have an old Crock-Pot and it still works, but is too small for a roast, etc. Similar style, but now with locking lid. Of course I said an old family recipe handed down. Over the weekend I made chili and mac and cheese. I had never really used a crockpot before and it was super easy to set up and use. That was the great thing about crockpots.

At the time, it was just my wife and I and our two-year-old daughter. I can't wait to cook more items using the different functions. She also made larger meals that easily fed our entire family. Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system. Remember, ALL slow cookers get HOT on the outside as does this one. You can get the whole place smelling good and the food comes out perfectly cooked. I have had it for 2 years and still works perfectly.

A few questions right out of the box that we are still waiting on. Of course a good-cooking- level would be between 7 and 8 quarts. That explains why it was so danged delicious! Basically if you follow Youtubers recipes, it's foolproof. Supposedly, the glass lid is also dishwasher safe but I just wash it by hand. Since, obviously, I don't use them anymore. She left it here when she moved into a place of her own.

And you know, it can make like 2 gallons of yogurt or porridge or something, so. I've only used it twice and, at this point, I am extremely satisfied. The salmon was perfect and so yummy! I would buy this exact same Crock-Pot again, it works great. Worked the first use, but will have to see over time, based on some reviews. This is my third purchase of this product. You can also put the stoneware and the glass lid in the dishwasher. It also gets super hot once the timer nears expiration. And, I did buy two from there originally. I don't know if that's a glitch or the way it is designed. Just go for the 6Qt and make your life much easier. But the price is right and, so far, I'm very happy with my purchase.

For a long time, I wasn't a believer. Because this cooks so quickly, it is very easy on my solar system. Replaced one we'd had for many years. This is so simple to use and there are recipes galore. And I have FIVE portions of leftovers instead of the 1-2 I had with the smaller I. ADs don't work on me and this also didn't. The first was programable, but didn't have a locking lid.

You can also put the stoneware and the glass lid in the dishwasher. So I did my research and bought it, DUO nova. I bought the 3 qt mini for use in our camping trailer. It WOULD if we locked it while cooking, but that's a no-no. Supposedly, the glass lid is also dishwasher safe but I just wash it by hand. Over the weekend I made chili and mac and cheese. Then just throw it back in the pantry until next time.
